Booking Policies

We have spaces for group bookings available throughout the venue, whole venue hire out of normal operating hours is available on request.  There is no fixed hire charge, but minimum spends may apply. Table bookings are secured with a card pre-authorisation; deposits may apply for large or whole venue bookings.
Food pre-orders are encouraged for larger groups.  We run a pizza menu everyday with a selection of tasty sides and salads.

Activities

We host our famous pub quiz every Sunday at 7pm; tables are on a first come basis, so recommend getting down early.
Live sport on all 5 large screens, showcasing the best from TNT Sports, Sky Sports, Premier Sports, and Amazon Prime.
Table football is available in the bar.  We are a cashless venue so please bring the correct change to play! £1 coin per match.

Accommodation

There is no accommodation on site but there are a number of hotels within a short walking distance.  Close venues include the Travelodge & Apex Hotel.

Decorations

For booked group events you are welcome to bring your own decorations, although we ask that no confetti is brought on to the premises.

Children

Under 18s are allowed in the bar until 9pm.  Adult-accompanied teenagers will not be permitted to have a beer, cider or small wine with a meal.

Local Area Info

Located just off George Street at the top of town. The Bath Cider House is a short walk from local amenities including Bath Abbey, the Roman Baths, eclectic shops & the historic City Centre.

Dog Policies

Dogs are welcome in the main bar. Please make sure you let us know if you are bringing your four-legged friend so we can assign your booking appropriately. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

Transport

Bath Bus Station and Train Station are both a 10 to 15-minute walk from the venue at the bottom of town.  Taxis can stop outside the venue to pick up and drop off.  Near-by car parks can be found at Charlotte Street (BA1 2NE), Broad Street (BA1 5LW), and The Podium (BA1 5BN).

Accessibility

Whilst the venue is split over a number of levels most spaces in our venue are fully accessible.  If you have any queries ahead of your visit please contact our team so we can allocate your booking in an appropriate space.  All bar areas and the upper terrace are accessible using internal lifts.  There is a small ledge by the front door but we have an adjacent fire exit if there is an issue with access.  The lower garden terrace can be reached via 4 steps down.

Consumption of own product on the premises / Corkage

No outside alcohol, soft drinks or food allowed.  Birthday cakes are permitted but please let us know in advance if you are planning to bring one.
